September 11, 2010:9th Annual International Race for Research Doubles in Size!
Imagine going from 250 participants to almost 500 in one year – outstanding!!
With support from hundreds of runners, walkers, sponsors, volunteers and donors, we were able to raise over $25,000 for Progeria research.
It was a day to remember:
- Perfect weather
- Loads of new supporters who promised to come again next year
- More teams than ever joining together to gather sponsorships, and
- Sam, Jesper and Sarah beaming as they crossed the finish line and accepted their trophies.
Heartfelt thanks to all who participated, making it possible for us to help children with Progeria.
Together, we WILL find the cure!
