February 3rd, 2011, TD Garden, Boston MA: Boston Bruins 6, Dallas Stars 3, Progeria Research Foundation $5000!!!!

On February 3rd, over 20 PRF volunteers dressed in matching long sleeve white shirts descended upon the TD Garden for the Boston Bruins vs. Dallas Stars game. Their mission; raise awareness for Progeria and sell as many 50/50 raffle tickets as possible.

Sounding like old fashioned carnival hawkers, the volunteers cajoled, joked, and in some cases embarrassed game attendees into buying 50/50 raffle tickets to support PRF.

Everyone had a great time! The Bruins dominated the game, PRF volunteers sold $10,000 worth of raffle tickets and one very lucky hockey fan won $5000 for supporting a great cause.

Thank you to the Boston Bruins Foundation, and to all the players, fans and volunteers for making a big difference in the lives of children with Progeria!
