Research Suggests Link Between Progeria and Normal Aging
In April 2006, the journal Science published a study by Tom Misteli, a senior investigator at the National Institutes of Health, which found that cells taken from normal healthy adults over the age of 75 showed many similar defects as cells taken from children with Progeria. This research presents scientific evidence of the closest link between Progeria and normal aging to date.
