The 2005 Workshop on Progeria was held November 3-5 at Boston’s Seaport Hotel. The workshop was designed to promote scientific discussions within formal and informal settings. In addition to formal presentations, elements new to this workshop included a poster session, and the opportunity to meet with children and families living with Progeria. The meeting was wonderfully successful, with collaborations formed, data shared on a variety of topics, and new ideas brought to the table. Particularly powerful was the round table discussion by parents of children with Progeria.
